Recently our #TeamRatton Sports Leaders led a trampoline enrichment day at Motcombe Primary School, for their Year 2 learners to enjoy. On the day, each Motcombe class came up for a one hour session where they learnt how to safely bounce and perform a variety of moves guided by our Sports Leaders, and at the end of each session they performed a short sequence. Our Sports Leaders put their knowledge of trampolining and coaching skills to the test, as they demonstrated and successfully taught many trampolining skills, which were hugely enjoyed by the younger Year 2 learners. They also kept the Motcombe students busy even when not on the trampoline using mat challenges & fun games.Motcombe teachers said they were “amazing!”. They certainly were! Here’s what the Year 2 teaching team had to say:-“Just a brief note to thank you and the Sports Leaders for an excellent trampolining session at Ratton. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and learnt a great deal from all of you. The Sports Leaders showed a positive attitude towards the children, encouraging them to take part and persevere. We very much appreciate this opportunity offered by Ratton and hope that it can continue.”Wowee, thank you #TeamMotcombe! A big THANKYOU to all the sports Leaders for giving up their break time and also for bringing so much enthusiasm and fun coaching the Motcombe students. We are so #PROUD of you all, you have inspired so many younger children. Well done, keep up the great work. A big shout-out to Ms Upton, teacher of PE and Sports Leader mentor, for her continued dedication to our Sports Leader programme and commitment to her students in this area. A great job as always. #SouthDownsLearningTrust #SDLT #AchievingSuccessTogether #TeamRatton #SportsLeaders #Trampoline #EnrichmentDay #Year2 #Eastbourne #Community #LocalSchools #WorkingTogether #PROUD #achievingtogether
